I’m a perfectionist by nature. Painting allows me to escape from those tendencies and just “be.”  My artistic process begins with a simple idea, a color, or shape. I enjoy exploring the relationships between different layers of color + layers of texture that arise on canvas.  Painting is a journey.  My artistic philosophy believes in embracing the “happy accidents” and seeing where I end up.
